We fell in love with a home that was newly refinished in the East Bay. Michael Hinojosa was the listing agent and I reached out to Michael through Zillow and he agreed to show us the home immediately. Two days later he took my parents through the home. He answered every question and objection with patience and knowledge. The home had been inspected and work had been done and he was knowledgable on every point. Once we placed an offer on the house, we wanted to do our own inspections and get some opinions from professionals and Michael met us, our GC and roofer and guided them through the home. We all agreed on further roof repair, A/C needs, sewage issues and Michael was forthcoming, honest and had estimates where he remembered exact details that later saved me $6600 in repairs.
We were first time homebuyer’s and had a few realtors we trusted, but Michael was so hardworking, helpful and trustworthy we trusted him to represent both seller and buyer. He reviewed the entire contract with us in detail, including representation. There was constant dialogue and follow up as we went through negotiation and were given more time due to work schedules. I was so impressed with Michael’s communication with my mortgage advisor. They worked together seamlessly. My mortgage advisor was very impressed with Michael as well. We are so thankful that we met Michael. He checked in each week and provided coaching for at least six weeks after purchase. If we had known buying a home could be this successful of an experience, we would have done it much sooner.
